Home Service Area Aurora
Aurora is a small town split between two identities: antique shops lining a historic Main Street, and farms and acreage spread across French Prairie just outside it. Porter Sealcoating & Paving works both ends of town, from tidy storefront parking to long driveways on working properties.
Aurora does not look like most of the towns we work in. It is a tiny city built around an 1850s communal settlement, the Aurora Colony, and Main Street has turned that history into an antiques destination that draws visitors from across the metro. Past the last storefront, the town gives way to French Prairie: flat, working farmland stretching toward the Aurora State Airport. The properties we take care of here fall into two clear categories.
Main Street’s shops depend on tidy curb appeal, and a cracked, patchy lot out front works against the whole block. We resurface and sealcoat these small storefront lots with clean edges and crisp striping, scheduling the work around store hours so it does not cost a shop owner a weekend of foot traffic. It is the same commercial paving and sealcoating work we do for offices and retail across the metro, just at Main Street scale.
Outside town, the lanes get longer and the ruts get deeper. Many acreage driveways out here were never paved in the first place, just graded gravel that washboards every winter. We grade and pave farm driveways from scratch, or convert an existing gravel lane to asphalt when a full pave is not the goal yet, all the way out toward the airport.
Aurora is a small service area for us, not a detour. The same crew that sealcoats commercial lots across the Portland metro shows up here with the same machines, scrubbing a surface clean before any sealer goes down, and the same owner quoting the job and calling you back himself.
“These guys were amazing! They work fast and take quality seriously.”
Yes. We work with antique shops and small businesses along Main Street regularly, and we schedule the work around store hours so a resurface or sealcoat does not cost a weekend of foot traffic.
Yes. Long farm and acreage driveways are common work for us around Aurora. We can grade and pave from gravel, or sealcoat and crack-fill an existing driveway that has held up but needs protecting.
Yes, that end of town is well within our coverage area. We work on homes, farms, and small businesses throughout Aurora, airport side included.
Every 3–5 years for most driveways and lots, depending on traffic and sun exposure. Sealcoating protects the asphalt underneath and keeps that fresh black look between full repaves.
